The project is a story exploring a man’s conflicted relationship with life. Living alone, he shares an intimate bond with his snail, letting it into his personal space. They care for each other, but he is haunted by flashbacks of killing mammals for food, forcing him to confront a difficult question: why do we value some lives over others? As he builds a fountain for the snail, the story examines the tension between intimacy and violence, challenging viewers to rethink the strange hierarchies we create in valuing life.
